Hate Has No Place In Liverpool

Here and Queer t-shirt

Support Young Homotopia by buying one of our t-shirts. For a limited time only get yourself one of two designs by the amazing Rosa Kusabbi.

All proceeds from the sale of these shirts will go towards our Young Homotopia.

Remember the artwork? Following a spate of violent homophobic hate crimes in central Liverpool last summer Homotopia responded with visible queer art around this city, and commissioned a mural by Rosa Kusabbi titled Hate Has No Place In Liverpool. Unfortunately 4 days after installation to work was pulled down and destroyed. We got the artwork reinstalled, bigger bolder and queerer. And now it’s on a t-shirt! Get yours and join us on our mission to Queer the City.

Young Homotopia x GYRO Summer Social

This July as part of Young Homotopia we’re hosting a Summer Social. A week of workshops, rehearsals, and performances for a creative collective of young LGBTQIA people who are interested in self-expression through performance.

Sign ups will open on May 31st.

For our 2022 summer social, we are looking for a junior facilitator to help practitioner and associate artist Ashleigh Owen throughout the project. This is a great entry level role for someone wanting to work in the creative sector.
