Join us for a one-of-a-kind evening where boundary-pushing art meets joyful community celebration. First up, experience the bold and brilliant work of our 2025 QueerCore artists: Claire Beerjeraz, Laura Bee Jones, Em Willzy and H.R.H. Aphrodite. Through presentations and performances, they’ll share the projects they’ve been developing during the course of the programme. Expect aliens, a mysterious murder, lesbian puppets, and an invitation to embrace some radical rest. This is your chance not only to witness new queer art in action but also to shape its future with your feedback. After a short interval, our Young Homotopia Panto returns with a fabulous retelling of the classic story Alice in Wonderland. Join Alice as they discover a world full of fabulous characters, camp chaos and playful rebellion. This is a Wonderland where difference is celebrated, nonsense makes perfect sense, and queer joy rules the stage.

About QueerCore: QueerCore is Homotopia’s talent development programme for early-career artists. The programme runs for 6 months and offers tailored support for LGBTQIA+ artists in the Liverpool City Region to grow, build connections and develop new ideas. About Young Homotopia: Young Homotopia is a creative programme run by Homotopia in partnership with YPAS – GYRO. It is free to join and provides opportunities for LGBTQIA+ teenagers and young adults to explore their identities through performance. Sessions are led by Homotopia’s Development Producer Ashleigh Owen and several visiting practitioners.
