Join Sahir this World AIDS Day as communities from across the Liverpool City Region come together for an evening of remembrance, reflection and hope.

Together, we will remember those we have loved and lost to HIV, honour the lives they lived and hold their stories close, while standing in solidarity with people living with and affected by HIV today.

Whether you are remembering someone special, World AIDS Day has personal meaning for you or you simply want to come together with our community, there is a place for you at the Vigil.

Free and open to everyone. All are welcome.

Wall of Remembrance Installation

Sahir will take over the steps of Liverpool’s World Museum with a major public memorial. At its heart will be a Wall of Remembrance, covered with hundreds of red ribbons tied by families, friends and members of the public. Each ribbon will honour a life, a memory or a story, creating a powerful shared tribute while challenging HIV stigma and standing alongside people living with HIV today.

Times will be advertised on Sahir’s website nearer the time: sahir.org.uk

Access:

All of our participating venues except The Vault have level access and accessible bathrooms. Contact [email protected] if you have any access queries or concerns we can help with.
