In honour of both Trans Day of Rememberance and World AIDS day, we welcome trans icon Dinah Bons of the house of Xtravaganza to close Homotopia 2025 Uprising!

We welcome global activist Dinah Bons Xtravaganza to Liverpool to share her first hand lived experiences and the community legacies which she and her peers are a part of.

Talking her proflific activism career as a trans leader, NYC in the 1990s, to Europe today from Paris to Amsterdam to Berlin and beyond.

This event falls in between Trans Day of Rememberance and World AIDS Day, both of which Dinah’s vast knowledge serves as the perfect voice to share light and wisdom on these important dates in our community calendar.

With opportunity for audience Q&A to gain insight into Dinah’s rich tapestry of decades of liberations: trans and queer, sex workers and migrants, black and brown. From Ballroom to the EU, this doll is the real deal and a TRUE legend who deserves her flowers!

This event is part of Pride is a Trans Led Protest. The curated exhibition has been postponed due to attempts by the venue to limit the content of the exhibition.
