In this workshop podcaster and producer Olivia Graham will be joined by curator James Lawler to discuss The Holly Johnson Story exhibition.
As part of The Holly Johnson Story Homotopia and DuoVision have been recording conversations with people recounting their lived experiences of Liverpool in the 1980’s. From this they’ve created two pieces of audio, one is focussed on LGBTQ+ art and culture and the other on the HIV and AIDs epidemic. Both are available to listen in The Holly Story or as podcasts.
They will be continuing to collect stories and build on these crucial and often unheard experiences alongside workshops about Liverpool in the 1980’s and exploring key these in the exhibition.
