The Extraordinary Acts Cabaret was first created to launch a zine – raising money for trans healthcare fundraisers. The title was reclaimed from transphobic hate speech, which we reject. We agree that trans healthcare is an extraordinary act… but one of love; community-care; resistance. As well as celebrating the zine for Homotopia, we will present A NIGHT of EXTRAORDINARY ACTS!

Hosted by Brighton based cabaret legend Emma Frankland, this edition will feature performances from incredible drag performer and spoken word artist Subira Joy and Blackpool icon Harry Clayton-Wright as well as more acts to be announced soon. Zines will be available to purchase at the performance with all proceeds going to local trans healthcare fundraisers!
