Lockdown 2020: Spare a thought for the Doggers!
A Homotopia Commission
Susan Richardson, chair of the Richmond Swinging and Dogging Society, is disappointed: a failure to observe social distancing rules has forced them to cancel all in-person dogging events for the foreseeable future. But she has bold plans to keep her beloved community together…
Hot on the heels of her critically acclaimed stage show ‘Puppy’, a lesbian love story featuring a group of enthusiastic recreational doggers, writer Naomi Westerman is back! This short sequel watches on as a group stumbles their way through their first virtual dogging session.
Joyously queer-positive, sex-positive, and just really fun, prepare for a lighthearted peep into a brave new world, though an interactive 10-minute digital play.
“I guarantee no one else is writing plays about COVID-19’s impact on the dogging community.” ~ Naomi Westerman.
