Lady Windermere’s Fan Club is Liverpool’s newest regular cabaret
night. This Homotopia special stars Scott Agnew, a Scottish comedian, who
has been described in various quarters as a “gay Billy Connolly” due
to his penchant for going off on hilarious tangents.
The hunky former journalist is also one of Scotland’s top comedy comperes. Also on the bill is sensational drag artiste Bryan Murphy, not the most glamorous of drag names I grant you, but Bryan’s act is glamour all the way.
Originally from New York, Bryan’s comedy is largely based on his experiences of now living in the UK. He’s appeared on the BBC’s Weakest Link drag special twice and he also belts out some fabulous tunes. The night is hosted by Liverpool’s very own, sharp-tongued Dame Doreen Kum Kwik – so be on your best behaviour!
