Merseyide Schools Tour
November 3rd to November 8th
After a national tour of the show we bring the critically acclaimed production
of FIT back to tour Merseyside schools. FIT is a bold play about attempting
to fit in and trying to stand out in a culture where everything from not
liking sport to wearing the wrong trainers is ‘gay’. Tess and
Jordan are best friends, an odd couple at the centre of everyones gossip.
Ryan and Issac are preoccupied with who’s gay and what’s ‘gay’ – and
it certainly ain’t them. Lee and Carmel are feisty girls with a few
secrets of their own.
FIT is written by Rikki Beadle-Blair and has been developed to tackle the
growing problem of homophobic bullying in Britain’s schools.
