Experience how lesbians and gay men lived their lives in Liverpool thirty,
forty and fifty years ago.
A dramatic presentation of some of the oral history interviews gathered
so far by Liverpool’s gay history project. From drinking in the Old
Royal, working in the Magic Clock, rubbing shoulders with Brian Epstein
and dodging the police to the Toxteth riots via folk clubs, hostile priests,
psychiatrists and broken marriages.
These life stories are hilarious, outrageous, moving and always fascinating.
