Starring Emily Burton, Julie Goldman, Emma Bowers. “I like to write
classic stories then fuck it up by tossing in a lesbian character,” says
director Erin Greenwell - and that's exactly what she's done in MOM, her
debut feature. The hapless Kelly (Burton) and her butch buddy Linda (Goldman)
are on the road, interviewing Middle Americans about soft furnishings for
a market research company. But when Linda hooks up a bored married woman,
Kelly finds herself alone - with her innocent dreams of a becoming a TV
news anchorwoman in tatters.
